The Academy of Law and Criminal Justice at West Creek High School is for students who are interested in justice, leadership, and protecting their communities. Academy students will explore the foundations of law, ethics, criminal behavior, constitutional rights, and the justice system. Coursework builds skills in communication, critical thinking, professionalism, and decision-making—preparing students for post-secondary education and careers in criminal justice.
Students learn through hands-on, real-world experiences that go beyond the traditional classroom. Through integrated simulations and crime scene activities, students practice investigation techniques, evidence handling, and problem-solving while learning about law enforcement, courts, and correctional systems at the local, state, and federal levels. The Academy provides a strong foundation for careers in law enforcement, corrections, forensic science, legal services, and public safety—helping students graduate confident, prepared, and career-ready.
