First identify if this is only to a certain kitchen, part of the building or the whole building.
Only a kitchen
Most likely a breaker has tripped due to over draw of power. Check the breaker panel for any tripped switches and flip them back. If this does not solve the issue, the operator may need to unplug equipment from the over drawn outlet and the breaker flipped again.
The whole building / part of the building is out
Please check the main breaker (this is typically located in the IT room / main breaker room for any flipped breakers.
The city may have lost power to your buildings. Check ComEd's website for information on an outage.

Check the gas valve in the ceiling. It must be parallel to the gas pipe in order to indicate gas is on. If this is off, equipment will not get gas.
The whole building / part of the building is out
Check your main gas line going into the building.

Turn off the gas to the kitchen. The valve is in the ceiling (follow the pipe going into the ceiling)
Once turned off, contact your ops manager and alert them of the leak.
The whole building / part of the building is out
Post in the channel @here informing of the gas leak and contact the property manager.
First ensure there are no issues with the gas or electrical feed into the kitchen. If its determined that its the operators equipment, apologize to the operator and let them know it appears their equipment has stopped working.
