Pre-Calculus 11
Pre-Calculus 11
This is a second‐level mathematics course which is designed to provide students with the mathematical understandings and critical‐thinking skills identified for entry into post‐secondary programs that require the study of theoretical calculus (Students are encouraged to examine the math program that is required for their field(s) of interest in post-secondary). The topics covered are sequences and series, trigonometry, quadratic functions, radical functions, rational functions, absolute value functions, systems of equations, and inequalities. MAT421A is a prerequisite for this course. As well, it is recommended that students have a strong background in MAT421A, especially in the areas of radicals and factoring of polynomials.
