Good Evening
I hope all who celebrated Halloween had a fun night!
This week is testing week in Fundations. We will be doing lots of review during our normal Fundations time and I will be testing throughout the day when time allows. I hope to get through all the testing within the 3 days. Sometime next week I will be contacting families of students who might need a little extra support with letter and sound identification.
We will continue to learn our trick words. This weeks word will be the word go.
We will be learning some nursery rhymes this week for shared reading.
In writing, we are moving along and beginning to identify objects in our drawings by labeling with the first sound in words.
In math, we are taking a little break from number sense and learning about sorting and categorizing objects based on their attributes. Then we will move into using the objects we have sorted to create patterns.
