Integrated Curriculum : A big part of our day will be consecrated to our final project. Students have been grouped into four groups and have chosen a natural disaster that will impact their province of study. Students have been asked to create a 3D model, use SCRATCH coding, and incorporate pictures, videos, and audio recordings. I have added a couple of videos that show the how technology will be implemented. Students have created a list today about what supplies they will need. I have most of what they need in the classroom and will be stocking up on more materials. If you are able to help your child with their list, that would be greatly appreciated. We will be having an Open House on January 23rd, 12:30-2:30, in our classroom so you can come and see all their hard work.
We are moving along in Math. We are wrapping up converting fractions to decimals. We will then begin ordering decimals and fractions.
We have run out of plastic spoons and forks in the classroom. Please consider us when you are cleaning out your cutlery drawer.
