Damon Lamberty received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Doane University in 2017, and a Master of Music degree in Instrumental Conducting from the University of South Dakota in 2019. While a graduate student at USD, Lamberty assisted with the Sound of USD Marching Band, the Opera and Symphony Orchestras, and the Concert Band.
Mr. Lamberty joined the staff at Cambridge Public Schools as director of 5-12 instrumental music in 2020, where he taught band, guitar, music cultures of the world, and history of rock and roll. In August 2023, Lamberty served as the 6-8 band director at Schoo Middle School in Lincoln. He joined the instrumental staff at Lincoln Northeast in the fall of 2024.
An active percussionist, Mr. Lamberty has traveled the Midwest and several European countries with various ensembles. In April 2011, he was awarded the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Hixson-Lied Young Artist Award for Music Composition. Lamberty currently writes wind and percussion book for marching band, as well as vocal and instrumental arrangements for show choir.
While not at school, Lamberty enjoys reading science fiction novels, cooking, and fishing.

Austin Reinke received his Bachelor's degree in Music Education Combo with an emphasis in composition at Nebraska Wesleyan University. At Nebraska Wesleyan, he participated across campus in University Choir, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Lincoln Civic Orchestra. He also served as the Music Department Technical Director and a student sound engineering lead for the Wesleyan Theatre Company.
In addition to his role as a student, he composed for many ensembles in Lincoln, having his works performed regularly, with one of his compositions being performed across central Europe. He was hired at Lincoln Northeast as the long-term sub for vocal music while also completing his student teaching.
Austin regularly performs around the country at various churches and theatre companies, having performed on guitar, bass, trumpet, french horn, trombone, percussion, organ, and piano. When not making music, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching football, and exploring Lincoln.
