Honors Jazz

Honors Jazz is the top jazz ensemble at Northeast. Students in this ensemble have demonstrated a strong understanding of their instrument, and have an interest in learning jazz theory. This group focuses on jazz standards and performs regularly, both on campus and in the larger community. In the Spring semester this ensemble will travel to Norfolk and Kansas City. To maintain instrument balance and ensemble integrity this ensemble is entrance by audition only for students in 10th-12th grade.
