The Creative Process

Project Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 slides (more recommended).

• Personal photos or free stock images that can be used to describe yourself.

• An mp3 file on each slide of a song that you want to include.

  • The music you chose for your project can be your favorite songs or simply songs that you think are fun ways to describe the slides at hand.  (Example- there might be a picture of you and your friends doing something fun over the summer so you use the song "School's Out For The Summer".  Even though its not your favorite song- it is still a fun way to describe the pictures on that slide. 

• Slides must have animation.  You can rotate images, place order the way they come in.

• You may use a template in slides, however you do need to add content and additional visual layers to each slide.  

• Your music must be in the form of an mp3 file, and should be set to automatically play at the start of each slide.  

Choosing Music:

• You may wish to use songs that are your favorites from your personal playlist OR you may choose to use songs that you may or may not have heard of prior or even like, but that fit your storyline.  For example- you may choose to have a slide that depicts all of your favorite things (favorite foods, favorite movies, etc.) and you so you use the song, "Favorite Things" from Sound of Music, to depict that particular slide.   

• Mp3: This will allow you to attach music to a slide and have it play instantly rather than needing to click on a link.  If you have songs that you would like me to convert and send to you in Mp3 format, please click on this LINK to add it to the spreadsheet and I will send it your way. 

Storyline/Organizing your slides:

• You have the freedom to do this as you see fit.  Here are some ideas to get you started-

  • Storyline in life order such as:  from birth to current status.  

  • Storyline in groupings such as: favorites, hobbies, school, friends, family.

  • Storyline as a combination of order and groupings such as: the past, the present, the future.
