Hello! My is Emilia Sabataso, I am a rising junior here at Clarkson University, studying Environmental Engineering and minoring in Environmental Science and Policy! This summer I am exploring my passion for industrial ecology and sustainability by growing micro algae with manure anaerobic digestate, for dairy cow feed with the goal of reducing enteric methane emissions while providing adequate nutrition! My passion for the environment started at a young age, participating in the reusable bag movement in my hometown! Since then my academic interests have grown, to traditional ecological knowledge, environmental justice and the pressing matter of climate change! When not outside identifying plants and bugs, you can find me reading, playing the cello or embroidering!
