Hello! My name is Bella Filagrossi, and I am entering my fifth year at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY majoring in Environmental Studies; Environmental Design, Policy, and Planning; and minoring in Chemistry! My passion for the environment and educational background has led me to pursue research with the goal of solving climate change related issues that prioritize the health of local marine ecosystems. My academic interests include wastewater purification, nitrate removal, and harmful algal blooms. In my free time, I enjoy baking/cooking, readings, painting or gardening!
