Hello! My name is Maya and I am a rising senior at the University of California, Berkeley studying Conservation and Resource Studies with a focus on Environmental Biology. I'm passionate about using my background in environmental sciences, biology, and ecology to support healthier ecosystems and communities! My work this summer has focused on updating temporal trends in mercury concentrations of Great Lakes fish as part of an ongoing monitoring program. In my free time you can find me trying out new recipes, playing bass, caring for my vermicompost bin, and making friends with neighborhood cats.
