My name is Lauren D. Fuentes Velázquez, I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and I currently pursue a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. My favorite place to be is the beach, or somewhere close to the ocean, which is why I was interested in the ASET-REU program. I am invested in directing my Engineering career towards the sustainable development of the ocean and the world's water resources.
