A comprehensive high school counseling/guidance program provides the following services to students and families:

Academic Planning: We help with goal-setting, academic interventions, credit recovery, college admission requirements, and exploring the variety of available programs in high school: Dual credit in high school, including Running Start, College in the High School, Advanced Placement and CTE College credit.

Personal/Social Wellness: We facilitate students with overcoming obstacles to be successful in school. All Guidance Counselors have Master's Degrees and have specialized skills to support with the unique developmental needs of teenagers. The focus is on academic guidance and support, such as problem solving, conflict resolution, coping strategies, time management, testing anxiety. For more information, visit our Social-Emotional Wellness page for information on outside referrals, as needed and our specialists in-building, who work with our students as well.
