Competency Credits & Bi-literacy Seal for World Language
The Washington State Seal of Biliteracy (RCW 28A.300.575, WAC 392-410-350) recognizes students who have attained an intermediate-mid proficiency in English and one or more world languages, including American Sign Language and Tribal languages. Eligible students who qualify and pass the tests can earn up to 4 World Language credits and could receive the Biliteracy Seal notation on their high school diploma and high school transcript.
See the Flyers below to take a World Language Proficiency test for High School Credit an/or Bi-literacy Seal. Dates vary each school year, but typically are given twice per year, Fall and Spring.
