What is neurodiversity?

The term "neurodiversity" refers to larger categories of people with neurological differences, as well as all neurotypical people. Many people identify as neurodiverse, including people with:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • anxiety

  • dyslexia

  • Tourette syndrome

  • intellectual disabilities

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • mental illness

Neurodiverse people have many abilities. Every individual has their own unique strengths and characteristics that can be acknowledged and celebrated.
