Visa:
It is the families responsibilities to ensure the students have the necessary Visa. Among others, Australia, China & HK passports will require visa application prior to the trip. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. (Ms Aline Vitzikam: avitzikam@cis.edu.hk)
Vaccination and medication:
Routine vaccination
Compulsory vaccination: Yellow Fever
Recommended vaccination: Hepatitis A & B, Meningitis - meningococcal, Rabies, Thiphoid Fever, Covid-19
Anti-Malaria medication is strongly recommended (alongside mosquito preventative measures)
Please consult your family doctor and the travel health center for advice. Some vaccinations may require multiple injections over an extended period of time and getting appointments in HK takes time, so we would encourage you to see your doctor as soon as possible to ensure you have enough time to receive the vaccination coverage that you desire/need.
Information on medical recommendations can be found here: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/senegal
Yellow Fever and other Vaccination and Anti-Malaria tablets can be found at the Travel health center: https://www.travelhealth.gov.hk/english/contactus/contactus.html
Note that Yellow Fever vaccinations can only be done at the Travel Health Center in Hong Kong and there is often several months waiting time to get an appointment. Book your appointment as soon as your place on this trip has been confirmed !
