The cost of this Project Week expedition is HK$28,000 that will cover accommodation, meals, transportation, comprehensive insurance, and all other expenses from the moment we get on the plane in Hong Kong until we land back in Hong Kong.
There are no additional costs that the students will need to cover while on the trip. However, please note that medication, vaccination and visa fees are not included in the price.
It is the students' responsibility to insure they have the appropriate travel documents and Visa. The Senegal Visa generally costs 50€.
It is also the students' responsibility to ensure their vaccinations and medications are up to date and suitable for the destination. Certificate of Yellow Fever vaccination is a requirement for entry in the country.
The students may choose to bring some small amount of spending money should they wish to buy local souvenirs. The local currency in Senegal is the Franc CFA, although small notes in Euro are also accepted (5/10/20 euro).
In addition, prior to the trip, the students will be required to be proactive and raise funds and collect donations for the Cajoutiers Foundation.
This is an important part of the Service component of this trip.
