• • Christ is:

The rock flowing with spiritual drink: “And all drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank of a spiritual rock which followed them, and the rock was Christ” (v. 4).

• • God’s loving seekers:

They seek God with all their heart— “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart” (Psa. 119:2).

They love God’s name and remember it— “Turn to me, and be gracious to me, As is Your custom with those who love Your name “ (v.132).

• My spirit!

Luke 1:80 And the little child grew and became strong in spirit, and he was in the wilderness until the day of his presentation to Israel.

Luke 23:46 And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.

• Calling on the Name of the Lord

Psalm 18:6 In my distress I called upon Jehovah and cried out to my God. He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry before Him came to His ears.

Psalm 27:7 Hear, O Jehovah, when I call with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me.
