Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Peace Prize laureate, having been awarded this prize when she was only 17.
Starting at the young age of 11 she advocated for a woman’s right to education even when her beliefs put her in danger. She was shot by the Taliban for her activism when she was 15. Malala and her father established the Malala Fund to internationally support female education.
