Today, we went to the TESRA factory and we saw the manufacturing process. We could know the history of TESRA. In the process, a lot of robots worked and many technologies were used. Also, a supercomputer was in the car. It was very exciting. We experienced TESRA car riding. It was very comfortable and fantastic. We hope to buy it!

今日はテスラの工場に行って、製造工程を見学しました。テスラの歴史を知ることができました。製造工程ではたくさんのロボットが動き、様々な技術が使われていました。車内にはスーパーコンピューターも搭載されていて、とても興奮しました。テスラの車に乗る体験もしました。とても快適で素晴らしかったです。ぜひ購入したいと思っています！

This morning, we joined a Tesla Factory Tour, followed by some shopping at TARGET.

We then spent the afternoon at CSUEB, where we had lunch and attended a special lecture titled “Entrepreneurship.”

I’d like to share my experience at California State University, East Bay.

Just like at Stanford University and UC Berkeley, which we visited earlier, we had breakfast at the university cafeteria.

By sharing meals in the same environment as local students, we were able to learn not only about American food but also about cultural aspects such as table manners and daily habits.

Later, we discussed which university had the best food. This conversation allowed us to learn more about each other’s tastes and preferences, which made the time even more enjoyable.

During the special lecture, we had the opportunity to listen to a speaker who is actively working as an entrepreneur in the U.S.

Although the lecture was entirely in English and there were parts I couldn’t fully understand, but I could still feel the speaker’s passion and message deeply.

It was a very meaningful experience:not only for those who wish to become entrepreneurs, but for all of us.

今日は午前中にテスラの工場ツアーに参加し、その後Targetで買い物をしました。

昼食と午後の時間はCSUEBで過ごし、特別講義「Entrepreneurship」を受講しました。

ここでは、カリフォルニア州立大学イーストベイ校についてお話しします。

昨日まで訪問したスタンフォード大学やUCバークレーと同様に、私たちはカフェテリアで朝食を取りました。現地の大学生と同じ環境で食事をすることで、アメリカの食文化やマナーについて学ぶことができました。

また、「どの大学での食事が一番おいしかったか」を話し合う時間を通して、お互いの趣味や好みについても知ることができ、とても楽しい時間となりました。

特別講義では、アメリカで起業家として活躍されている講師の貴重なお話を聞かせていただきました。全て英語での講義だったため、完全には理解できなかった部分もありましたが、講師の情熱や想いはしっかりと心で感じ取ることができました。

起業家を目指す人だけでなく、すべての参加者にとって非常に有意義な時間だったと思います。

We went to the Tesla factory this morning. It was very interesting to see cars which has been making while we walked around the factory. I was also surprised at how few people there were in the factory. Machines were assembling car parts, painting them, and doing many other tasks. I felt that mechanization and AI will continue to advance in the future, and simple tasks will no longer be as a job. It was a wonderful experience that made me think about what I can do and what I should do for the future and for Japan.

今日の午前中私達はTeslaの工場へ行きました。工場を歩く間に車が出来上がっていく様子はとても興味深かったです。また、工場内の人の少なさに驚きました。機械が車の部品を組み立てたり、塗装したりと多くの作業をしていました。これからはさらに機械化やAI化が進み、もはや単純作業は職業として成り立たなくなるだろうと肌で感じました。未来のために、日本のために私にできること、そのためにすべきことを考えさせられるような素晴らしい経験になりました。

We went to Tesla Factory.In last year,students of ToyamaChubu high school coldn't go there,but fortunately,we could have a wonderful experience there.

We could see how to assemble cars,and try to take the Tesla's car.

Of corce,we had never taken the driver's seat before.The first experience of taking driver's seat was very exciting because the seat was on the left side and it was Tesla's one!It was so amazing!

私達はテスラファクトリーに行ってきました。昨年の先輩は行けませんでしたが、私達は幸運にもそこで素晴らしい体験をすることができました。

私達はどのように車を組み立てるのかを見学し、さらにテスラの車に試乗することができました。もちろん、私達は運転座席に乗ったことがなかったのですが、私達はなんと運転先デビューを、左側の運転座席で、しかもテスラの車で果たしてしまいました。とてもすばらしかったです。

Karate, which is the only sport I can do well, has a variety of schools

Shotokan, Shitoryu, Gojuryu, Okinawa karate, and so on. I have practiced karate for more than ten years and belonged to Shtokan school. Surprisingly, today I found a karate club of Shtokan, here in California. "Karate! Shtokan!!" shouted I when the symbol of Shtokan suddenly emerged before my eyes, remembering that I had been skipping the practice of karate for about a month. This may well be when my heart jump up most highly in the U.S., for some reasons (anyway, I must visit my karate club immediately after I return to Toyama, having a souvenir with me).
The day we have to leave this country is nearing on and on.
By the way, I saw a sunset in California for the second time today. The orange color still didn't its best or the blue color was agressive enough only to disappoint me. This might well be the very unsatisfactory for us (some of my friends have the same opinion on the sunset in California as mine) through all the experiences in the U.S....

僕がよくする唯一のスポーツである空手には、様々な流派がある。松涛館、糸東流、剛柔流、沖縄空手など。僕は10年以上空手を習っていて、松涛館流に所属している。驚くべきことに、今日、ここカリフォルニアで、松涛館流の空手クラブを見つけた。「カラテ！ショウトウカン！！」松涛館のマークが突然目の前に現れたとき、僕は叫んだ。空手の稽古を1か月くらいサボっているのを思い出しつつ。多分これがアメリカで一番心が跳び上がったときとなると思う。色んな理由で（とにかく、僕は富山に帰り次第直ちに、お土産を携えて、僕の空手クラブを訪ねなくてはいけない）。

この国を離れなくてはいけない日がだんだん近づいている。

なお、今日、カリフォルニアで2度目の夕陽を見た。橙色はまだ本気を出さず、あるいは青色が攻撃的すぎて、僕を落胆させただけだった。これがもしかすると、アメリカでの全ての経験を通して私たち（僕の友人のうち数名はカリフォルニアの夕陽について僕と同じ感想を抱いている）にとってまさに不満足となったものとなるのかもしれない……

Today, we visited the TESLA factory and then went to Target, a popular American supermarket.

At TESLA, we toured the vast factory while riding in a vehicle. It was a valuable opportunity to see the car manufacturing process up close. We also got to test ride a car equipped with the latest technology. It was a very enjoyable experience where we could feel the cutting-edge technology of Silicon Valley.

At Target, we bought souvenirs to take back to Japan. We were able to purchase many local items, such as American snacks that can only be found here. I ordered a Trenta-sized drink at Starbucks, which is only available in the U.S. I was surprised by how much bigger it was than I expected, but it was really delicious!

　今日はTESLAの工場に行き、その後アメリカのスーパーマーケットであるTargetへ行きました。

　TESLAでは、広い工場内を車に乗って見学しました。車の製造現場を直接みることができる貴重な機会となりました。また、最新技術を搭載した車に試し乗りすることができました。シリコンバレーの最先端技術を味わえたとても楽しい時間でした。

　Targetでは日本へのお土産を買いました。アメリカのお菓子など現地でしか買えないものをたくさん買うことができました。私はスターバックスでアメリカでしか買えないトレンタサイズのドリンクを注文しました。予想以上の大きさで驚きましたが、とても美味しかったです！
