We went to UC berkeley. Four students could speak Japanese and told us a lot of information kindly.There are two big libraries which is big and have a lot of books.Some students said that going to UC berkeley is one of good choice.We also went to Google. We enjoyed looking at strange objects.

私たちはUCバークレー校に行きました。日本語を話すことができる4人の学生が親切に私たちに多くの情報を教えてくれました。大きな図書館が2つあり、本もたくさんあります。UCバークレー校に行くのは良いねと言った生徒もいました。Googleにも行きました。私たちは奇妙な物を見て楽しみました。

Today I went to UC Berkeley. The campus is Greek-style, green, and rich in nature. The clock tower on campus is the second tallest in the world after Big Ben in the UK! The student who showed me around the campus taught me a lot of things, such as the differences in entrance exams between Japan and the US, and the differences in university systems.

今日はUCバークレーに行きました。キャンパスがギリシャ風で緑が多く、自然豊かなキャンパスでした。キャンパス内にある時計台はイギリスのビックベンに次いで世界で2番目に高いそうです！キャンパスを案内してくださった学生の方に日本とアメリカの入試の違いや、大学のシステムの違いなど様々なことを教えていただきました。 

We visited Google Visitor Experience and Apple Park Visitor Center. We enjoyed shopping in it. In Google Visitor Experience, we could enjoy some objects. It was very interesting! Also, we could experience AR technology in Apple Park Visitor Center. We saw inside Apple Park. It was very exciting!

In addition, we could also enjoy cafes in two spots. It makes us relaxed.It was a very fantastic time!

Google Visitor ExperienceとApple Park Visitor Centerに行きました。ショッピングを楽しめました。Google Visitor Experienceでは、色々なオブジェを体験できて、とても面白かったです！Apple Park Visitor CenterではAR技術を体験できました。Apple Parkの中も見学できて、とても興奮しました！

さらに、2か所のカフェも楽しめました。リラックスできて、本当に素晴らしい時間でした！ 

I was waked up by friend.Waking up was nice.The breakfast was bread with ham and cheese.Many trash boxes were on the road because of the day of collecting.I felt sense of life.Roads were crowded when we took the bus.After that we went to UC Berkeley.There were many kinds of library.In the one of library I ,watch New York Times.It was very interesting After that we are lunch.The pizza was good.I also ate salada.After then we went to Google visitor experience.Some friend bought some gift.Lastly I went to Apple park visitor center.A lot of people were there.We could experience a lot of things comes from the latest technology.We could also see and enjoy very nice view.In evening I went to superstore with my host family.I looked for and bought apple juice because I very like it. 

今朝は友達に起こされました。良好な目覚めでした。 朝食はハムとチーズをパンで挟んだ物でした。今日はゴミの日なので沢山のゴミ箱が道路上にありました。生活感を感じました。移動時、道路は混雑していました。その後カリフォルニア州立大学バークレー校を見学しました。多種類の図書館がありました。私はその中のニューヨーク・タイムズを拝見しました。とても面白かったです。その後昼食を食べました。ピザが美味でした。また、サラダも食べました。その後グーグルビジターエクスペリエンスを見学しました。数人の生徒がお土産を買っていました。最後にアップルパークビジターセンターを見学しました。たくさんの人がそこにいました。最新技術によるさまざまな体験ができました。また屋上からとても良い景色を見て楽しむことができました。夕方にはホストファミリーとスーパーで買い物しました。私は自分の好きな林檎ジュースを探して、買いました。

Today I went to UC Berkeley. UC Berkeley is actually the model school for Monsters Inc. University, and as a Disney fan, I was very happy to be able to went this university! I was very impressed with the building construction similar to the one in the movie, which I could see in many places.Berkeley, there is supposed to be a ball that you get credit for touching and a manhole that you don't get a good grade for going through.There were many other buildings that were very interesting!

今日はUCバークレーに行ってきた。実はUCバークレーはモンスターズ・インクのモデル校なんです。ディズニーファンとしては、この大学に行けてとても嬉しかった！映画の中と同じような建物の作りがところどころに見られ、とても感動しました。またカリフォルニア大学バークレー校には触ると単位が貰える球体と通るといい成績が取れないマンホールがあるらしいです。他にもいろいろな建物があってとても面白かったです。

Today, I visited UC Berkeley and the Apple & Google Visitor Centers. UC Berkeley was very interesting, especially its strong paleontology program, as seen in a facility with many dinosaur fossils.

In the evening, my host father and I attended a local community gathering. This event brought together people of various races, unified only by religion, which truly highlighted America as a "melting pot." Afterward, a professor who taught at Stanford gave a talk about the connection between religion and his work as an engineer, showing how closely religion and lifestyle are linked in the United States.

今日はUCバークレーとアップルおよびグーグルのビジターセンターを訪問しました。UCバークレーは大変興味深く、特に多数の恐竜の化石を所蔵する施設があり、古生物学に力を入れている学校であることがよく分かりました。

夜には、ホストファーザーと共に地域の集会に参加しました。この集会は、宗教という唯一の共通点で様々な人種の方々が一堂に会しており、アメリカがまさに「人種のるつぼ」であると実感させられました。その後、スタンフォード大学で教鞭をとられていた教授が、宗教とエンジニアとしての自身の職務との接点についてご講演くださり、アメリカにおける宗教と生き方の密接な繋がりを垣間見ることができました。 

I saw a sunset in California for the first time today. It was so beautiful, needless to say. But I think the blue color of the sky in California is too strong, almost agressive. Here I haven't seen a view of a sunset which I love the best, the sky and the city dyed orange. Even in the one I saw today, the orange color was so overwhelmed that I barely noticed it. Well, I think the orange color of the sunset in California should do its best by all means.

今日、カリフォルニアで初めて夕陽を見た。言うまでもなく美しかった。ただ、カリフォルニアの空の青色はちょっと強すぎると思う。ほとんど攻撃的なくらいに。ここでは僕の1番好きな日没の光景ー空と街が橙色に染め上げられた景色ーをまだ見ていない。今日僕が見たものでさえ、僕が辛うじて気づいたくらいに橙色は圧倒されていた。カリフォルニアの夕陽の橙色はぜひ本気を出すべきだと思う。
