Drama is not just about acting. There are a lot of roles in theatre, film and television that involve DESIGNING and MAKING. 

There are lots of ideas and tutorials on the pages  below for things you can try and make at home even with limited resources. However, these are just a few examples and a simple search on YouTube or Google will bring up many more possibilities and ideas.

Materials

You might find the following items useful (but don't worry if you haven't got everything suggested in the videos- be resourceful and think of things you could substitute instead):

• A few colouring pens or pencils

• Paint

• Some paper or card

• Glue 

• Scissors

• Cardboard/ shoe boxes

• Pipe cleaners

• String or thread

• Wooden sticks 

• Bits of fabric or felt
