University Student Council Leadership Training Programme
The University Student Council Leadership Training Programme was held on July 25-26, 2024, at the Kengeri Campus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University). This comprehensive two-day event, organized in collaboration with Inner Voice Consultancy Private Limited, aimed to equip 78 newly inducted Student Council Representatives with essential leadership skills and foster effective teamwork. The training addressed several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education and reduced inequalities.
The programme commenced with an introduction by Mr. Jaikumar Chandrashekhar, the founder of Inner Voice Consultancy, followed by icebreaker activities that encouraged interaction among participants. Representatives were divided into groups for various tasks that required critical thinking and problem-solving. Day two featured a keynote address from Dr. Fr. Viju P. Devassy, who emphasized the qualities of effective leadership and introduced the concept of servant leadership. Activities focused on building trust and understanding team dynamics were also conducted.
