CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Central Campus, Bengaluru, hosted the much-anticipated Daksh and Open Day 2025 on January 11th and 12th, 2025. Organized by the University Student Council, the flagship event attracted over 8,000 attendees, including students, parents, and educators from across India. The two-day event showcased an engaging blend of academic excellence, career guidance, and cultural vibrancy.
For the first time, the event featured the Trail Blaze competition, designed for students from grades 9 to 12 to showcase their talents. The contests, aimed at inspiring creativity and critical thinking, included categories such as Dance (Nritya Kshetra), Quiz (Chronicler), Business Simulation (Pitch Perfect), Filmmaking (Director’s Cut), and Debate (Reasoned Revolution).
The second day was marked by energetic final rounds of Trail Blaze, with participants competing fervently for the top honors. Delhi Public School, North, Bengaluru, emerged as the champions, claiming the rolling trophy and a cash prize of ₹20,000. The award was presented by Dr. Kishore Selva Babu, Director of the University Council, alongside faculty coordinators and Student Council representatives.
The valedictory ceremony was filled with enthusiasm and applause, celebrating the winners and acknowledging the participants' efforts. Former University Student Council representatives shared nostalgic and inspiring words, reflecting on the growth and impact of Daksh over the years.
Daksh and Open Day 2025 also featured over 120 interactive stalls representing a wide array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. Personalized career counseling sessions guided attendees through diverse academic and professional pathways, reinforcing the University’s reputation as a hub of innovation and opportunity.
The event drew approximately 10,000 attendees, including participants, families, and visitors exploring CHRIST’s sprawling campus.
