Libraries need the support of other institutions, agencies, and organizations to attain its goals and objectives. The library of CHMSU Binalbagan Campus has an active and well-established connection with these groups which helped make it responsive to the needs of its users.
In the local setting, CHMSU Librarians are active members of the Negros Occidental Librarian's Association (NOCLA) which promotes professional continuing education by organizing trainings and seminar-workshops for librarians and para-professionals working in libraries. Members are engaged in inter-sharing resources by means of inter-library loan services. Inter-library cooperation by means of accepting students from other institution to have physical access to library collection is established. The library maintains partnerships with a number of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Bacolod and Province of Negros Occidental, such as the NONECOST and NORSU.
The library is a recipient of DOST STARBOOKS or the Science & Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated Kiosks that intends to serve as information access portals in key areas in the Philippines. People in the community can have digital access to the scientific information physically available at the Science and Technology Information Institute, the DOST Science and Technology Information Network of the Philippines (SciNet), Philippine eLIb project sources. freely-available online resources. and subscribed databases. It contains hundreds of thousands of digitized science and technology resources in various formats (text and video/audio) placed specially design "pods" set in a user-friendly interface.
The sharing of resources is successfully made with other institutions, agencies and publications. The library has established and maintained a linkage by exchanging scholarly journals and publications with different State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines. For the past three years, there were eighteen (18) institutions, namely, Capiz State University (CapSU), Aklan State University, (ASU), Guimaras State University (ISAT U), Iloilo State College of Fisheries (ISCOF), Negros Oriental State University (NORSU), Northern Iloilo Polythechnic State College (NIPSC), University of Antique (UA), and West Visayas State Universkty (WVSU), which have established a consortium to upgrade education in all level of the educational system.
In addition, La Carlota City College established its agreement with CHMSC to adopt a system of networking whereby sharing of resources by means of interlibrary loan services and exchange of school publication and research journals. The library also connects with other government agencies like the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and DENR; and publishers/book jobbers such as the VP D'Tops, CD Books, Inc., Paperus Trading, Fastbooks International, Great Book Store, J and M Magazines Subscription International, C & E publishing, J & F Book Center and among others.
With wider links, benchmarking of practices physically and virtually was made possible.
CHMSC letter to NORSU requesting for the school to be included in their mailing list and, in exchange, to share the TRIDENT - school's official research publication on CHMSC social media pages.

Some of CHMSC’s partner institutions namely: John B. Locsin Colleges Foundation, Negros Oriental State University, La Carlota City College, Technological University of the Philippines, La Carlota City College, Biliran Province State University, Philippine Normal University-Visayas, and Ifugao State University provided their feedbacks on the shared resources and services.
