The library has a total floor area of 653 sq. m. with 532.67 sq. m. reading area. Based on the standards required, each user should have 1.5 sq. m. Thus, the library can accommodate 303 users in one seating, which is above the minimum seating capacity requirement of 10%.

The library is adequately lit. We used a 40-watt fluorescent artificial lamp. Luminaries in the book stacks are placed perpendicular to the stacks to prevent direct light from damaging the paper materials. The lighting infrastructure underwent routine inspection and upkeep. Wide windows in the library let natural light into the reading area and private study spaces. We also uphold the university's commitment to fostering a greener society. The library makes sure all of its lights are energy-efficient due to this.
The library has the necessary ventilation. All portions of the reading room include ceiling fans and air conditioning units strategically placed to offer enough ventilation and a comfortable learning environment for all service users.

The library is supplied with fire extinguishers that are placed in convenient locations in case of a fire. Smoke detectors and fire alarms are put together.
To ensure that the library resources are protected and kept under observation, security cameras have been put in key locations. The entrance and exit doors to the library are segregated. A member of the library staff is in charge of the entrance door. They will ensure that all visitors have correctly entered their names and will check what they are allowed to carry inside the building. Place all bags and other items in the luggage area outside the library.
Multimedia Library provide high quality service. This paper describes multimedia, its applications and limitations. its hardware and software requirements. Multimedia prepared in hypertext environment is called Hypermedia. The need for multimedia in libraries and its use for various applications such as multimedia library information kiosks, , training, digital libraries, multimedia databases, multimedia catalogues, multimedia library collections, electronic publishing, etc.
According to the results of the satisfaction surveys, the library's patrons are extremely happy with the facilities. It merely demonstrates how favorable to studying the library is.

The library takes into the highest consideration the security and safety of the users, staff and its collections. Thus, the institution devised procedures and policies on the physical set-up and equipment in order to make the library safe for people and materials.
To avoid loss of the library assets (books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, manuscripts, computers and its paraphernalia, etc.), users are required to place their things in the depository area. Only notebook, papers, ballpen, and valuables are allowed inside the library. Likewise, personnel in-charge inspect the users blongings before allowing them inside. Mmeanwhile, personnel records all items being brought outside.
The library Wi-Fi password is regularly changed to ensure protection of internet services from unauthorized use. All computers are religiously monitored of the bugs, viruses, and other threats.
For added security, the school has installed fire extinguisher, fire and smoke alarm and CCTV cameras within the library premises.
The library has twenty seven (27) units of computer for its operations. One (1) unit is provided for the automated attendance monitoring, four (4) unit for onsite access and one(1) for Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), one (1) unit for the server, one (1) unit for the CCTV monitoring, one (1) unit for borrowing and returning transactions, six (6) units for the personnel workstations and twenty-one (18) units in the e-library for the internet and computer-aided research services.
The Office of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has installed the licensed operating system and applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, among others. Likewise, the Office of Research and Development has provided the library with Grammarly.
The institution is able to provide relevant and responsive services for flexible learning modalities and modern educational needs of the academic community with the use of ICT. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the school has introduced innovative services such as the use of online medium and electronic/digital platforms in order to connect and sustain the library services.
The library has basic infrastructures to support its IT-enabled operations and services which may include- but not limited to - internet-connected computers, Wi-Fi access points, printers, scanners, and other information appliances such as photocopiers.
Also, the library is providing adequate computing devices through the use of 18 desktop computers to access electronic resources and website services.
The CHMSC Library System is an in-house automated integrated system that features all reports and transactions. The library has been utilizing this system for 14 years now. It helps the library in storing data of library's collection and its members. It facilitates fast library transactions in borrowing and returning of books and easy retrieval of information needed by the users in terms of book information, borrowed materials, fines, etc. Its modules include Transactions for Circulation, Cataloging, Library Members, and Inventory; Miscellaneous; Report; and utilities. The Library has also its OPAC and Library Attendance System. Through the use of OPAC, users can determine whether the library has a collection of the needed book or if these materials are available or not. By using OPAC, users can search the Title, Author, Accession number, copyright publisher, and the ISBN of the book. The search results allows sorting by Title, Author, and Copyright. The Library Attendance records the data of library users who enter the library by scanning the barcode of their library card.
The Library has sustained its subscription to three (3) online databases, namely: IGI Infosci Journals (December 14, 2021 - December 13. 2022), ProQuest Central (June 01,2022 - May 30,2023), and PEJ Premium with remote access (January 5, 2022 - January 4, 2023). This will provide academic community an instant access to complete, up-to-date content, multi-disciplinary journals, magazines, and few e-books with easy-to-use features and unique search tools enabling discovery. This collection could be accessed through 24 computer units and 16 tablets available in the library. Password and link are given to students and faculty who wanted to access the resources remotely.
The library has an official website https://chmscblibrary.wixsite.com/elibrary. The webpage was developed and became functional in 2012. It is a communication tool where news, accomplishments, and policies, among others, are disseminated thereby connecting the library to its users. Tied to the four-fold function of the academic institution (instruction, research, extension, and production), the library website supports research by providing access to sophisticated research tools and full text databases. it also supports the academic community through public access of its online resources, academic commons, and services. It also provides link to the library's subscription to Philippine E-Journals, Proquest, and IGI Infosci Journal.
The Office of the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation conducts a regular evaluation of the customer's satisfaction of the physical facilities and services of the library to serve as basis for improvement. From these surveys, it has gathered a high satisfaction level result from users of the library.
