Alchemy Robot
DESIGN OBJECTIVE: I will DESIGN and 3D MODEL a non-violent Mech style robot . My design will be more mechanical looking than organic. The character will be a charismatic, sci-fi, Hollywood style design.

I think I am going to start with this design and see where it takes me. Not to sure what I am going to do with the little alien guy sitting inside of the dome controlling it. Maybe it is a mech or robot? We will see . . .
10/12: Inspired Robot Design - Sketchbook
I am really pleased with the overall initial design. Keep in mind that this is just a starting point for my design.
I am not too sure what the little things hanging under the arms are, so I will need to address that. Some of the joints are a bit too small and limbs need to be beefier.
10/30: Started 3D sketching the robot in Maya.
I started 3d sketching the initial shape. It looks great from the front and really coming together. The main knee positioned joint is way too small . . .
I will need to flesh out the side and the back as I go; I do not want it to be egg like. I do not like the base that the dome sits on. I think I need to add a ridge and sharpen some of the angles.

Continued working on 3d sketching basic design. I need to beef up the arms some of the joints.

I added some color to break up the form. It is coming together . . . And I am lovin' it. BUT . . . Look at that profile or side view????? I have a lot of work to do . . .
