I want to explore how to model photoreal cars in Maya for my racing simulator Game. I will follow the "Modeling a Lamborghini Huracan" youtube tutorial and document my progress daily. I chose this tutorial because I love cars and want to explore becoming a car designer.

Daily 3d Modeling Progression: Day 1 - Date
Today I started the lamborghini tutorial. I set up the image planes for the car both side and top. I then started form the wheel well.
I got to the front quarter fender today. It was more challenging that I expected, but it is starting to show the form.

I mirrored to the front end and fender today. it did not line up perfectly and I had to merge and align a few vertices, but it looks good now.
