Summer Careers Academy in Skilled Trades
The Summer Career Academy in Skilled Trades is a Registered Youth Apprenticeship program designed as an eight week summer career training program that connects local learners with new skills and paid work experiences in compelling career pathways related to construction trades and automotive trades. Completion of the summer program will lead to high school course credit in an apprenticeship course, while being paid! The Summer Careers Academy is managed by the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties in partnership with CHCCS, OCS, and local businesses.
