We are excited to be able to offer a flexible option for Verbal De-Escalation directly from the CPI. This opportunity provides asynchronous instruction to each staff member, including scenarios and checks for understanding.  Once staff has completed their personalized content, they should come together for a post content discussion or closure activity using the provided reflection tool.  The online component takes about 40min to complete, and does not have to be done continuously.  Here is a one-page overview, course outline, and a 1-minute video clip.
