Week 4 Lesson 1: 5.2B Comparing and Ordering

I can simplify numerical expressions with and without parentheses.

1. Watch the video and take the notes on the notes page, or use it as a guide and take them on notebook paper

2. Complete the Guided Practice and check with the answer key

3. Complete the Independent Practice, choose your level of rigor, "C" 10 problems , "B" 15 problems or "A" 20 problems (graded)

4. Complete the indicated IXL lessons with a goal of a minimum smart score of 80

5. Enrichment: Challenge yourself!

Students must complete the independent practice and a minimum of one of the IXL lessons for credit. You may submit your independent practice by taking a picture and emailing it to your teacher, submitting through Google Classroom or returning to the HS for pick up.
