Michael Murphy's Never Ending Story Scholarship

The Michael Murphy's Never Ending Story Scholarship was established to recognize Michael Murphy, a CFHS Class of 1999 graduate., who passed in 2018. Michael was a kind and had a big heart. He loved movies and music from the 80s, especially Peter Gabriel. He loved the beach, scuba diving, and his best dog friend (Auryn - named after The Never-Ending Story). His great sense of humor added to his personality that made him a great son, brother, and cherished friend. While at CFHS, Michael was a member of the Varsity Basketball Team, gifted in art and won several art awards, and loved being a writer for the CFHS Tiger Times. His column was titled - "Did you ever wonder?"
