The History Center will offer 3 scholarships this year.

The Don Barriball Scholarship will be for $1500 and is intended primarily for a student attending an EXELL TECC program or are going to a trade school, although other students may apply.

Students applying for this scholarship must answer the following question in 500 words or less:

1 - Describe your work experience and your thoughts on the value of work to the individual and society.

The Ed Shields Memorial Scholarship will be for $2000 and the Scrap Zalba Memorial Scholarship will be for $1500.

Students applying for either of these scholarships are required to answer one of the following questions in 500 words or less.

2 - From which of your academic, work or volunteer activities have you gained the greatest benefit. Describe the benefit(s) and how it(they) will shape your future?

3 - What benefit does the History Center bring to our community?

The History Center reserves the right to adjust the criteria based on the applicant pool.  Students who have volunteered for the History Center, or whose families have been involved will receive special consideration.
