Friends of the Library

Who We Are

The Friends of the Chagrin Falls Library volunteer their time and energy to raise funds in support of Library programming, exhibitions, special events and activities.

Our main fundraising activity is our used book sales. We hold sales three times a year, in May, August, and December. We also have a smaller ongoing sale.

In addition to funding the ongoing programming, concerts and art exhibits, some of the amenities we have provided the Library in recent years:

  • “Letter Bird” art by local artist Pam Spremulli in the children’s room

  • License to show recent Hollywood releases for free at the Library

  • Aquarium in the children’s room

  • Microwave for the staff kitchen

  • Set of reinforced iPads, used for Minecraft Club and many other programs

Our board meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm at the Library. Please join us! If you would like to join the Friends, help with book sales or donate books, please email ChagrinFriends@gmail.com or call the Library at 440-247-3556.
