Description: This webinar introduced CGIAR Big Data Platform’s webinar series on Responsible Data Management. It focused on the tensions faced by researchers in making their data open while also acting responsibly to protect the privacy and wellbeing of the subjects and communities they work with. A fragmented compliance landscape existing at the intersection of open data, privacy protection and ethics clearance was explored and complemented by CGIAR perspectives regarding the compliance challenges they face.
