- Be a student in good standing at Cypress-Ranch High School
- Minimum of B average
- Attended Warner Elementary School
- Be classified as a senior and graduate with senior class on May 28, 2025
- Complete application in its entirety, incomplete applications will be disqualified
- Attend an accredited two or four-year college or university
The application and ALL required materials must be turned in to Mrs. Marks in the Counseling office on or before Friday, April 17 at 3:00pm. No late submissions will be accepted.
Mrs. Marks will collect your entire application file and submit it to Warner Elementary. This includes your application, high school transcript, letter of recommendation (your recommender should send it directly to kimberly.marks@cfisd.net), and the required essay.
The Ault Elementary PTO will honor two CFISD graduating students from the class of 2025 [who also graduated 5th grade from Ault Elementary] by awarding each a $1,000 scholarship. These grants are intended to recognize and reward students who have demonstrated a history of academic performance, involvement in school activities, participation in community service and/or employment(s) during high school, and contributing to the overall betterment of the Cypress, TX community.
The Selection Panel will utilize the following criteria when making their selection:
Academic Performance 25%
Community Service and/or Work Experience 25%
Letter of recommendation 20%
Involvement in School Activities 10%
Career Objectives & Goal(s) 10%
Personal Statement 10%

1. Complete the cover letter & application attached in its entirety. Additional materials [including but not
limited to resumes, pictures, additional letters of recommendation beyond the one requested, portfolios, etc.] will not be distributed to the Selection Panel, nor considered during the selection process.
2. Please use your name or other identifiers only on the cover sheet. Prior to consideration by the Selection Panel, committee members will review applications to ensure anonymity. Note: students of CFISD employees are welcome to apply. CFISD employees will not take part in the selection process.
3. Request a letter of recommendation [please note only one letter will be considered] from a teacher, administrator, counselor, employer, or community leader that speaks to your character. The applicant must submit the letter with their application.
4. Return the completed application, including the letter of recommendation, to the Ault Elementary PTO Secretary by Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2:00pm.
5. Recipients will be notified by email by May 9, 2025.

Sampson Elementary PTO/Student Council will grant two $1000.00 scholarships annually to former Sampson Elementary students who are graduating seniors of any CFISD high school.
