Lone Star College (LSC) Email Account Resources
Lone Star College (LSC) will communicate with you through your LSC Student Email Address ending with @my.lonestar.edu. You must check your LSC email account regularly OR forward it to an email address you do check regularly.
Below are some resources to assist you (click on the links for the instructions):
LSC Office of Disability Services
If you currently receive accommodations in your high school courses through 504 or Special Education, you MUST request accommodations through LSC's Office of Disability Services for your college courses (dual credit courses).
Please follow the "Disability Services Accommodation Process" checklist to ensure you complete all the necessary steps well BEFORE your classes begin.
Selecting from your approved list of accommodations must be done EVERY semester for EACH class you're taking. It's recommended that you log into the VDAC system prior to the first day of class and again anytime you receive an email from LSC stating one of your courses has been added or dropped.
After completing the Apply Texas application, check your emails regularly for your "Welcome to Lone Star" email that arrives within 2-4 school days. This email contains your LSC ID# in the upper righthand corner. Bring your LSC# along with any qualifying test scores to your DC Counselor to discuss your next steps in the DC Registration process.
Some of the TSI Exemption scores listed in the document above are for Dual Credit courses only. If you are taking College Credit Only courses, you cannot use PSAT, ACT Aspire, or STAAR EOC scores to qualify. See your DC Counselor with any questions.
Contact your Dual Credit Counselor to discuss TSIA2 testing instructions, if required.
BACTERIAL MENINGITIS REQUIREMENT INFO FOR IN-PERSON OR HYBRID COURSES ONLY
Most Dual Credit students NEVER need to satisfy the Bacterial Meningitis vaccine requirement because it's only required if you are taking an IN-PERSON or HYBRID courses on Lone Star's campus. Instructions on submitting Proof of Vaccination or submitting an Objection Request have been shared here.
