Past/Future Opportunities

How do you enter? Just post a picture or video of a project you tried or write a post about something you learned from our panel. Use the hashtag #STEaMMBJ before January 30th, 2021. Send a snapshot of the post to: klafond@bizjournals.com We will give away one $1000 scholarship, one $500 scholarship and eight $250 scholarships you can use for STEaM camps or education. Must be 8 – 18 to enter with a parent’s permission. The decision of the judging panel is final. A special thank you Northwestern Mutual and HellermannTyton for making the sponsorships possible!

Awards

NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honors 9th-12th grade students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education.
