Financial Partners
Microsoft advocates for the promotion of digital skills, including computer science programs and recognizes the importance of the creation of tech startups. TechSpark provides monetary and technical support to the CSTEY Brown County Pilot. Its Microsoft TEALS computer science curriculum is empowering teachers throughout the State of Wisconsin to promote computer science in the classroom. They also partner with the Green Bay Packers to help grow new businesses in Northeast Wisconsin through their TitletownTech initiative.
The American Family Dreams Foundation, Inc supports communities they serve by offering grants to eligible non-profit organizations in alignment with its dedication to Life Long Learning. Their generous funding allows the important work of this project to continue.
In 2017, David and Rita Nelson made one of the largest gifts in Wisconsin’s history. Part of their estate is now supporting CSTEY’s work in alignment with their posthumous interest in supporting education.

CESA 7 is the lead partner in the CSTEY project. A trusted educational leader for over half a century, CESA 7 supports school districts in preparing students to be college, career, and life ready by providing high quality and innovative services delivered by recognized experts.
Program Partners
The Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) Program partners with high schools to build teacher capacity and student interest in computer science with the goal of enabling schools to sustain equitable CS programs on their own.
Code.org® is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by young women and students from other underrepresented groups. Our vision is that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core K-12 education.
Rising Phoenix Early College High School is an innovative collaboration between UW-Green Bay and the Computer Science Talent Ecosystem Youth (CSTEY) program to provide high school students an opportunity to get a head start on college and gain knowledge and skills in computer science. Students will have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and a two-year Associate of Arts and Sciences degree with an emphasis in Computer Science at graduation.
Strategic Partners
CSforALL is a central resource for individuals and organizations interested in K-12 computer science (CS) education. We connect providers, schools and districts, funders, and researchers working toward the goal of providing quality CS education to every child in the United States.
The mission of the NEW Digital Alliance is to advance collaboration efforts that promote the tech health of the region with a vision of being the primary authority on IT/Digital Technology growth in Northeast Wisconsin. They promote high-tech careers, startup funding, education-business collaboration and develop programs that advance high tech education.
The Wisconsin CSTA (Computer Science Teachers Association) has been developing the computer science community over the past 10 years. Their site aims to be the focal point for all things computer science within Wisconsin. They share ideas and lessons through meetings and by creating sessions about computer science in various venues.
The mission of Women in Technology Wisconsin is to attract, grow and retain women of all ages in technology-related careers. WIT collaborates with professionals, companies, and communities to help women in technology of all ages and stages -- from the classroom to the boardroom — by providing a variety of leadership development, technology education, networking, and mentoring opportunities for women and girls.
The mission of the chamber is “to strengthen member businesses by enhancing economic and workforce development, resulting in improved quality of life in our community and region. They manage the Youth Apprenticeship program in Brown County.
New North's mission is "to be a catalyst for regional prosperity through collaborative action." They were Created in 2005 by business leaders to implement economic development strategies that leverage regional assets/capacities and engage regional collaborators to maximize the collective economic power of 18 counties
Brown County is a leader in pioneering the Digital County initiative to “set a new standard in Wisconsin by providing the infrastructure necessary to empower everyone to create digital opportunities, educate our community on how to handle the Digital Evolution, and further ideas on how to support small entrepreneurs, narrow the digital divide, innovate government processes, and grow the economy in all the right ways.” They also created the Brown County STEM Innovation Center.
