The MPGT Academy is an award winning, Career and Technical Educational (CTE) program at Ceres High School in Ceres, California. Our Academy serves students in grades 9-12, preparing students with a hands-on education so that they have skills and characteristics necessary to succeed in the work field or college of their choice. The academy has two pathways, Manufacturing and Engineering, where students learn about renewable energy, computer-aided draft and design, electronics, programming, 3D-printing, robotics, and solar energy. Our program has staff and courses that embrace a family-like culture to help cultivate and foster relationships that will last a lifetime.
The MPGT Academy offers certifications including OSHA-10 and WorkKeys, and we are working on setting up forklift operation certification. The academy works with lots of business partners and mentors to provide students with personal and professional skills to succeed in their career. Additionally, students can participate in internships at Gallo Winery and solar installations.
Since hands-on learning is an integral part to our program, we host and participate numerous events, including multiple field trips a year to manufacturing plants and colleges.
