The Manufacturing, Production, and Green Technology (MPGT) Academy hosts and participates in numerous, hands-on learning events. These events are critical components on preparing students to enter their career field or college of choice with experience in their back pocket!

The MPGT Academy regularly takes field trips to manufacturing plants, businesses, national parks, and colleges to provide unique learning opportunities and experiences for students.
Incoming Freshman attend a special event prior to the start of the year in order to set them up for success in the upcoming year. Students receive school supplies, get to tour their classrooms and meet their teachers so they are prepared the first day of school.
The Farm to Factory event brings in 600+ 3rd graders and dozens of vendors to Ceres High School to showcase the CTE programs, MPGT Academy and FFA!

Cars, Robots, 3D-Printing, Oh My!
MPGT Academy students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular projects. Students of all grade levels are encouraged to design, build, and program robots for VEX Robotics competition.
Senior students work with Grid Alternatives, a non-profit solar company that provides training and opportunities for our students to install functioning solar energy systems on houses (including rooftop installations).
MPGT students design, build and race solar powered boats in the annual SMUD Solar Regatta!
Our 11th Grade students have monthly luncheons with other 50 local business mentors who help provide feedback and instruction on various topics, including team building and soft skills.
Our 12th grade students participate in mock interviews with over 30 panelists. Each student participates in two interviews and receives feedback from multiple panelists.
