This class is an advanced course designed to dig deeper into the world of technical theatre. This course is available for students in the Talented Theatre program with a valid Theatre IEP. Students will gain technical experience through project based assignments focusing on design and fabrication as well as learn aspects of all technical theatre such as lights, sound, costumes, props, and sets for productions.
Students in this class have the unique opportunity to learn from and train next to a professional in the industry. This class is dedicated to helping these students explore the many different forms of tech and design used in theatre, while also allowing them the chance to get hands on experience.
With an introduction into every area of the production process, our goal it to help our students become well rounded and experienced in each aspect of technical theatre and design.
Class Requirements:
Students must have a valid Talented Theatre IEP in order to be enrolled in the Talented Technical Theatre Class.
