Welcome to a new year with the Talented Performing Arts Department. This program provides students with unique opportunities to grow as artists, develop their skills, and shine both onstage and behind the scenes.
We are looking forward to another year of creativity, excellence, and many memorable performances!
So what is Something Rotten Jr.? Well, basically, it’s a fast-paced musical comedy that playfully pokes fun at Shakespeare and the world of theatre!
Packed with satire, clever references, and show-stopping fun, the show is full of big laughs, bold characters, and musical mischief. Our Talented Musical Theatre faculty & students proudly present this hilarious celebration of theatre, creativity, and over-the-top storytelling that blends classic Shakespeare with modern musical comedy for a show the whole family will love.
Students in the Talented Music Program recently performed in a Chamber Music Recital at the CHS Theatre, featuring a variety of instrumental and vocal ensembles. Through focused ensemble coaching and advanced repertoire, students develop musicianship, collaboration, and confidence. Performances like this provide meaningful opportunities for students to apply classroom learning in a live setting while growing as both musicians and collaborators.

CHS Talented Performing Arts
The Talented Program is an educational initiative tailored for students recognized for their exceptional abilities in visual arts, music, or theatre with in the Central School System. The classes offered in these disciplines are meticulously designed to provide experiences that foster skill enhancement, expand disciplinary knowledge, and facilitate personal growth as artists.
