The Central Community School System offers identification and services to qualifying students who are Academically Gifted and/or Talented. Opportunities for Talented students are available in the areas of Talented Theater, Talented Music and Talented Visual Arts at all levels in our district, from Elementary through to High School. Screenings are offered at the school level to begin the process of identification.

The CCSS Talented Theatre and Talented Music Programs foster the development of the student’s individualized vision and personal style of expression in the performing arts. The classes offered in these disciplines are meticulously designed to provide experiences that foster skill enhancement, expand disciplinary knowledge, and facilitate personal growth as artists. Through introductory and advanced training in all elements of music and theatre, our students are given the opportunity to become well-rounded performers and artists at each CCSS School.
