The Talented Theatre Program fosters the development of the student’s individualized vision and personal style of expression in the performing arts through introductory and advanced training in all elements of the theatre arts.
Talented Musical Theatre is an advanced course designed to dig deeper into the world of musical theatre. This course is available for students in the Talented Music and/or Talented Theatre program. Students will gain performance experience through monologues, scene work, improvisation, choreography, analysis, voice, and history as we explore the origins of theatre throughout each unit.
Students must audition for placement into this class. They must also have a valid Talented Theatre IEP and/or Talented Music IEP in order to be enrolled in the Talented Musical Theatre Class.

This class is an advanced course designed to dig deeper into the world of technical theatre. This course is available for students in the Talented Theatre program with a valid Theatre IEP. Students will gain technical experience through project based assignments focusing on design and fabrication as well as learn aspects of all technical theatre such as lights, sound, costumes, props, and sets for productions.
Students must have a valid Talented Theatre IEP in order to be enrolled in the Talented Technical Theatre Class.

Applied Technical Theatre Projects
Members of the Talented Touring Company are assigned to our Talented Theatre for Youth Flex class. This is a performance-based Flex class especially designed for talented theatre students with a passion for storytelling for young audiences. Students will explore multiple facets of theatre-making — from voice acting and puppetry to playwriting, directing, and design — with the ultimate goal of creating short, engaging performances suitable for touring to the local elementary schools.
Students must audition and be invited to join this Flex class. Students must have a valid Talented Theatre IEP in order to participate in this class.
