Haylie Wrage "Claustrophobia"

My idea was to show and demonstrate the feeling of claustrophobia. My focus for Drawing II is fears and phobias. My process was first sketching and outlining all the small images. Then I took the markers and colored it in adding small details to the artwork. I then glued all the images on a piece of cardboard-like paper, and it was finished. This artwork is a demonstration of the feeling of being claustrophobic. The audience should either feel empathy for people with claustrophobia or relate to the images knowing they feel the same.  The most difficult part was figuring out how to place to artwork. I didn't know if I wanted a specific place or just random, so I went with random. This art style is realistic along with abstract. The people in the images don't really look like real people, but the places and the car are realistic. I love that it is a new art style for me, but is also new with the realism aspect.
