Scheduling Update and Forms for Juniors

Parents and Students-

All Junior students were given their Senior Year Scheduling Forms today in STAR. They need to complete these and have them returned to the Guidance Office by January 17th. Students will then have an individual meeting with their counselor to discuss what classes they selected. Below are both the Early College Scheduling Video and Non-EC Scheduling Video

College Workshop Opportunities



The Central Indiana FAME chapter is pleased to host an employer showcase for interested high school students (and their parents) on the evening of January 23rd at the Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center. Students and their families who attend will:

  • Learn about the Advanced Manufacturing Technician program, which is a two-year college program, provided by Vincennes University and participating employers;
  • Learn about the college sponsorship opportunities provided to students accepted into the program;
  • Tour the Aviation Technology Center, where the classroom portion of this program will take place;
  • How to apply for the program; and
  • Interface directly with participating employers and sign up for tours of their facilities!

Please forward to students who may be interested in this opportunity, which provides a degree and work experience, through the sponsorship of participating employers. WE WILL BE ENROLLING STUDENTS IN THE SUMMER OF 2020!

USI Alumni Association Scholarships

Application Deadline: March 8, 2020

Leadership Award

Amount: $1,500

Recognizes and promotes the ideals of leadership in an Indiana high school graduating senior who will bring those qualities to USI.

Greater Indianapolis Chapter Scholarship

Amount: $3,000 ($750 per year for four years)

Recognizes a high school student from Marion, Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks, Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Brown, Putnam or Shelby county in Indiana who embodies the philosophy of education as a lifelong process which enables individuals to reach their highest potential and enrich their community.

Dubois County Chapter Scholarship

Amount: $500

Recognizes a high school student from Dubois County in Indiana who embodies the philosophy of education as a lifelong process which enables individuals to reach their highest potential and enrich their community.

Art Scholarships

Application Deadline: February 7, 2020

Amount: $500-$2,500 annually

Awarded to incoming students majoring in art or art education to be used towards tuition. Recipients are selected based on artistic excellence and potential to excel in creative and professional endeavors through portfolio review.
