Seniors-

The 1st deadline for colleges and universities has passed. It was November 1st. You can continue to to apply to schools, and we encourage you to do so. Remember to request transcripts in Naviance Student. You have to click that you have submitted your application in order for you to show up on the Counselors list. If you are unsure if you are doing this correctly, please email your counselor. We are happy to assist!

FAFSA is also open! Make sure you have this completed by April 15th!

Juniors-

Don't forget to start signing up for the ACT/SAT!! It is a great idea to take it this Spring! Visit the Guidance Office to obtain a the dates and locations.

Sophomores-

YELLOW Scheduling forms are due by NOVEMBER 9th. Make sure you have ALL Stamps required to be enrolled into the classes. Once you have the yellow scheduling form completed, turn it into the Guidance Office. Counselors will start meeting with students soon!

Freshmen-

GREEN Scheduling forms were due TODAY NOV 2nd. Continue to turn them in.. THANK YOU for the students who have theirs in already! We will begin to meet with you ASAP!

Center Grove Scholarship Foundation

The Center Grove Scholarship Foundation is looking for students to serve as representatives this year. One of your main responsibilities is to assist with the phonathon in February. This is a fun event that raises money for scholarships for Center Grove students. COLLEGE 101

Ivy Tech is here to help your students and their parents/guardians navigate the overwhelming decisions about college: what to study, which school to attend, how many classes do I need to get a great job, FAFSA, assessment tests, picking a major. When it comes to college, students and parents might not be sure where to begin!

We are here to help! Please share this information with your students and encourage them to join us at the Indianapolis downtown campus for College 101. This evening is dedicated to helping high school students and parents/guardians with all things related to college. We welcome Ivy Tech dual credit students, 21st Century Scholars, or any of our high school students. We will answer the questions you have and give you the information about college you didn't even know you needed. You'll walk away feeling great, whether college is one or four years away. Plus, it's a great opportunity to come check out to see what Ivy Tech has to offer:

· Large offering of online classes,

· Transfer opportunities to four-year institutions, and;

Next Generation Hoosier Scholarship

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is pleased to announce that the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship application for the 2019-2020 academic year is now open in ScholarTrack!

You may know that the scholarship offers 200 students interested in teaching a scholarship of $7,500 (renewable up to four years) in exchange for agreeing to teach in Indiana for 5 consecutive years after graduation. Students interested in applying must be in the top 20% of their class or have a top 20% ACT/SAT score to qualify, and submit a complete nomination form via the online application.

Applications will be accepted in ScholarTrack until November 30, 2018.
