Scheduling is in FULL swing!
Most of the 9th Graders who turned their form in have already met with their counselors. Many of the counselors will begin scheduling their 10th grade students next week.
If you have NOT turned your form in, it is VERY important you do so! If your counselor does not have your scheduling form, you run the risk of not getting the classes you want, and/or having a one-on-one meeting this semester with your counselor.
*Keep checking out the scholarships in Naviance Student. Don't forget that Johnson County Community Foundation opened their scholarships last week.
*If you get an acceptance letter OR denial letter from a college or university PLEASE bring it to our office. Mrs. Fisher can make a copy of it for our records. Without your acceptance letters, we cannot send final transcripts to schools. The acceptance and denial letters also help us with the scattergram data in Naviance Student.
Thanks so much!!
On Saturday December 8th from 9:00am-4:30pm, we are hosting a full day camp where high school students (any grade level) and their families can come to Marian University’s campus to participate in engaging workshops to complete their 21st Century Scholar High School requirements, and learn about how to ease the transition from high school to college!
This is including, but not limited to, visiting a college campus, completing the FAFSA, watching College Success 101, and learning about different career opportunities. This day will also allow time for students and families to meet college scholars, eat a free lunch on campus, and ask a panel of students about how to prepare for the challenges of college. It will be a fun and engaging day. So, we would appreciate it if you would help us spread the word to the 21st Century Scholar students that you work with!
Student are welcome to sign up for the event with the link below:
