Applications for the Governor’s STEM Team Now Open
Indiana high school students are invited to apply for the 2020 Governor’s STEM Team. This team highlights four of Indiana’s elite high school students for their work in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).Winning students receive a $1,000 college scholarship from Indiana’s College Choice 529 Direct Savings Plan and a letterman jacket to showcase their accomplishment. Applications and nominations may be submitted online. The deadline for submitting applications is 11:59 p.m. ET on March 27.

Global LLC residents are eligible to apply for our generous scholarships available only to our small community. But you must be a resident of the Global LLC to be eligible. To do that:
1. Please apply for housing through RPS’ online application, and rank Global LLC as your 1st preference.
2. Complete the short Global LLC application.
3. If you have already submitted your housing application, changes can be made on RPS’ website.

An ideal candidate for the Apprenticeship program is one that has a willingness and passion to learn. The candidate should enjoy solving problems and working with his/her hands. He/she should also have the ability to communicate effectively and work in teams. As the program will eventually require a students to maintain a 3.0 GPA, students should be prepared for college coursework, although it will be applicable to their career. There is not a minimum GPA to apply for the program. We have accepted students with GPAs lower than 3.0, and those students have been successful. Candidates should have good attendance and behavior.

An ideal candidate for the high school internship positions is one that has a career interest and path that aligns with the job description. Students should have demonstrated success in previous CTE/related courses that would prepare them for Work-Based Learning Experiences. Students should be motivated self-starters that are great communicators, as well as team players. Students should be entering their senior year, and be prepared to make a year-long commitment to the internship program, which would also include flexibility in their senior year schedule. Students should have good attendance and behavior.
